Lyons Ranch is a family-owned cattle and grass operation. Nestled in the Flint Hills of Kansas, Lyons Ranch is situated in an ideal environment for cows.
We feel fortunate to have our whole family involved in the operation. It is ideal for raising cattle and kids. The famiy operation consists of the headquarters operation 4 miles south of Manhattan, the south ranch 8 miles east of Alta Vista and Blythe Angus 4 miles south of White City.
The south ranch is managed by our daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Karl Langvardt, and their sons Tanner and Trey. The south ranch is ideal for winter pasture, with its native grass and brome. Amy and Karl calve the cows and process the calves and artificial breeding is done here.
