Downtown EskridgeEskridge, Gateway to the Flint Hills is located in the scenic flint hills near Topeka and Emporia.  A wonderful place to raise a family, visit or getaway on Highway 4 in Wabaunsee County.

As part of the communities served by Mission Valley Schools, USD 330 it has the best of educational opportunities for children K-12th grade.  In 2014 Eskridge was home to 527 residents.  Eskridge is a community that loves to celebrate with parades and community events.  Perhaps you are looking to expand, build or relocate a business to Eskridge, Kansas?  The City of Eskridge has land zoned for industrial use, but additionally has many historic main street buildings that would be perfect for small business.   The excellent location of this small town serves to be advantageous to businesses that may need access to large trade centers.

Eskridge has vintage clothing, a small grocery market, home-town banking, insurance, construction companies, café, senior center, custom cabinetry, fuel, auto repair, small engine repair, thrift store, great park, PRIDE coalition, ceramic shop, affordable housing.

The town of Eskridge was established in 1869.  The town is named after Lieutenant Governor Charles V. Eskridge who was involved in establishing Emporia State University and functioned as the editor of Emporia’s first newspaper-“The Republican”.
