PINHOLE CAMERA

WORKSHOP

SATURDAY AUGUST 8, 2009

Noon-4pm*

*tentative schedule--may run over

WHERE:

The Harveyville Project (Old High School building, 13149 Harveyville Rd)

ALL AGES WELCOME!

Children under 8 must have a parent wit them. Snack provided.

We need a count for supplies. Call 785-589-2714 or visit harveyvilleproject.com to register.

A pinhole camera is a very simple camera you can make yourself. Photographer Stephanie

Trevino will lead the workshop and curate a public exhibit of student photos at the end of

August. You will make your own pinhole camera in class and learn how to use it. Each

student will shoot one roll of film at the workshop and leave it to be developed. If there is

enough film remaining, we’ll send extra home with you, and you can return your additional

shots for development by the end of the week.

This program is presented in part by the Kansas Arts Commission, a state

agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency,

which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
